T-Mobile Goes to Bat for Consumers with New Groundbreaking Phone Upgrade Program During MLB All Star Week

New lineup of television commercials, local promotions and giveaways to drive awareness for

 new groundbreaking device upgrade program

Bellevue, Wash. and New York City - July 12, 2013 -T-Mobile US, Inc. (NYSE: "TMUS") is stepping up to the plate during Major League Baseball's All Star Week to proclaim "two years is too long to wait for a new phone!" The best phone upgrade program in wireless - called JUMP!(TM) - lets consumers upgrade their phones when they want, up to twice per year as soon as six months from enrollment. Eligible customers can sign up for JUMP! beginning this Sunday, July 14.

"All-Star Week is one of the premier events in sports, and we couldn't think of a better platform for reaching out to consumers to talk about a totally new approach to mobile phone upgrades," said Mike Sievert, Chief Marketing Officer of T-Mobile. "You are going to hear a lot from us about JUMP! in the coming week, and you're going to love what you hear."

T-Mobile, America's "Un-carrier," is launching a series of high-profile television commercials, promotions and giveaways to celebrate the end of waiting two years to upgrade more affordably with JUMP! during T-Mobile All-Star FanFest and MLB's All-Star Week events at Citi Field.

During the next five days, JUMP! advertising will have a significant broadcast presence on FOX and ESPN as well as digitally on ESPN.com and MLB.com. Baseball fans watching the Chevrolet Home Run Derby on ESPN on July 15 and the 84th Annual All-Star Game on FOX on July 16 will also see T-Mobile JUMP! commercials. T-Mobile and FOX are also partnering on an in-game segment featuring an interview with a MLB player.

In addition, another ground-breaking T-Mobile news announcement from earlier this week will also be featured in a television commercial during the All-Star Game. Starring Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, the spot will highlight T-Mobile's new offering that gives all families access to a great multi-line deal with no credit check. Beginning July 14, families can get four Simple Choice Plan lines with unlimited talk, text, web and up to 500MB of high-speed data on a nationwide network for only $100 per month (plus taxes & fees) with no credit check and no annual service contract required; though a deposit may apply.

T-Mobile will also temporarily take over New York's #7 train to Citi Field, wrapping it in magenta color with new advertising touting JUMP!(TM) as well as T-Mobile's 4G LTE network coverage throughout New York City.

At the All-Star Game itself, T-Mobile will give away 30 smartphones as part of its "JUMP! (TM) Instant Row Upgrade." 30 lucky fans will get one of these new devices, with one free year of unlimited service from T-Mobile until July 15, 2014 [1].

In addition, during the past several weeks, T-Mobile gave its longest-tenured customers in the New York City market free tickets to attend T-Mobile All-Star FanFest, the world's largest interactive baseball fan event at the Jacob K. Javits Center from July 12-16. These loyal New York City-area T-Mobile customers who attend FanFest, will also get to take advantage of JUMP!(TM) lanes, giving them an official entry point and special access "upgrades" to T-Mobile All-Star FanFest attractions.

Fans interested in learning more about JUMP! can visit the Center Field Concourse at any of the All-Star Week events at Citi Field as well as at FanFest. In each of the venues, there will be a retail "pop-up" store for consumers to browse and purchase from a selection of smartphones/devices while supplies last, activate new T-Mobile lines of service and find out how they can get started with JUMP!. More information can also be found online at JUMP!.
