The move to hire a seasoned B2B executive reflects the importance of business customers to T-Mobile’s growth plans. “We are rethinking the wireless industry as well as every part of our business from the perspective of our customers – both consumer and business. Drew’s track record as a strategic and visionary leader in the industry and his passion for building highly effective teams couldn’t be better suited to our plans to redefine the wireless experience for business customers and shake up the space – just as we’re doing in the consumer market,” Legere said. Kelton brings to T-Mobile a wealth of telecom experience from around the globe. Most recently, he was president of Bharti Airtel Business in India. Through his leadership and creativity, he successfully revamped the company’s strategy, product and service portfolio and returned Airtel Business to growth in an extraordinarily competitive market. Prior to Airtel Business, Kelton served as managing director for Telstra International, where he established the company as a thriving player in the Asia Pacific region.
