June 12, 2016

Bellevue, Washington – June 13, 2016 –T-Mobile is making ‘Text to Give’ available to help customers make charitable donations in the aftermath of the June 12 mass shooting that claimed the lives of 49 people and left dozens more wounded at an Orlando night club.

“What occurred in Orlando is horrific and tragic,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “The victims, their families and friends deserve our thoughts, prayers and support.”

To help, T-Mobile partnered with the Mobile Giving Foundation so customers can make a $10 donation to the Orlando Health Foundation by texting “ORLANDO” to 20222. Text messaging charges will not apply, and the one-time donation will show up on their next T-Mobile bill.

The Orlando Health Foundation supports the Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) Level One Trauma Center.
