T-Mobile, First Wireless Carrier to Introduce Video Messaging Services in the U.S.

T-Mobile USA, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of T-Mobile International, the mobile arm of Deutsche Telekom AG (NYSE:DT), introduces video messaging services for T-Mobile customers to record and send full motion color video messages, including sound, from a wireless phone. For less than $200 after rebate, consumers can now purchase the Nokia 3650 color videophone via T-Mobile’s Web site (www.t-mobile.com) or by calling 1-800-TMOBILE.

With the built-in video and audio recorder functionality of the Nokia 3650, consumers GET MORE® fun by capturing spontaneous moments with short videos and sharing them with friends and family. To use the fun feature, customers just record 10 seconds of action with the Nokia 3650, tap in an email address and hit send. Friends and family simply open the email attachment to watch and hear the sights and sounds of the situation unfold – as if they were there.

T-Mobile first introduced customers to the benefits of visual, wireless communications late last year, unveiling a full line up of color camera phones. In the last three months, over one million “you-had-to-be-there” moments have been sent over T-Mobile’s nationwide network by enthusiastic customers.
