The Un-carrier Edges Out 100 Other Atlanta Companies to Take Home the Best of the Best Overall Award

BELLEVUE, Wash. and ATLANTA, Ga. − July 1, 2015 – The T-Mobile (NYSE: TMUS) Augusta Call Center today beat out 100 Atlanta Best and Brightest Companies to Work For to take home the Best of the Best Overall award. T-Mobile won this award for earning the highest score across 10 categories including work-life balance, diversity and inclusion, employee achievement and recognition and more. In 2007, T-Mobile opened its first Augusta call center with just a handful of employees. Today, that same call center is home to more than 700 employees, including more than150 that were promoted last year and nearly 40 that were promoted in the first half of 2015. Last year alone, the call center hired nearly 450 employees, and this year plans to hire more than 300.They’ve already hired nearly 200 employees since January.
