In its inaugural year, the T?Mobile Supplier of the Year Award honored the two companies that distinguished themselves, each having met a threshold of performance excellence in areas that include strategic partnership, account management, quality, delivery and technology and tools. Their performance, measured through a rigorous review process, earned them top ratings. “We’re thrilled to be able to showcase the deep partnerships we’ve enjoyed with these elite suppliers,” said Scott Searls, vice president, procurement and supply chain operations, T‑Mobile USA. “The value they provide T?Mobile and our customers cannot be overstated, and they have consistently delivered excellent products and services while maintaining a valued and productive relationship with T‑Mobile.” Each year, T‑Mobile works with numerous suppliers who provide products and services that are crucial to the success of the company. T‑Mobile developed the Supplier of the Year Award to improve the feedback process and recognize suppliers whose performance set them apart. The award will be given out annually. The following are the 2010 T‑Mobile Supplier of the Year Award recipients: - __Samsung Telecommunications America__, based in Dallas, supports a broad range of T?Mobile’s handset lineup, including the Samsung Vibrant, the Galaxy S 4G and the Samsung Galaxy Tab, T‑Mobile’s first tablet offering.
