Bellevue, Washington – August 15, 2016 –T‑Mobile has teamed up with the American Red Cross to help customers make ‘Text to Give’ donations to those impacted by flooding in Louisiana.
“This is a difficult time for thousands of families,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T‑Mobile. “Our thoughts, prayers and support are with them and all of the first responders.”
T‑Mobile customers can make a $10 donation by texting “LAFLOODS” to 90999. Text messaging charges will not apply, and the one-time donation will show up on their next T‑Mobile bill. All donations will assist the Red Cross in preparing for, responding to and helping people recover from this and other disasters.
T‑Mobile Simple Choice customers already get unlimited calling and texting included in their T‑Mobile service plan at no extra charge.
