Layer3 TV Welcomes Gregg Grigaitis

Gregg Grigaitis, former Vice President of Product and Advanced Technology at Suddenlink Communications, has joined Layer3 TV as Chief Product Officer, leading the planning and design of the next generation cable service.

Gregg Grigaitis, former Vice President of Product and Advanced Technology at Suddenlink Communications, has joined Layer3 TV as Chief Product Officer, leading the planning and design of the next generation cable service. His team will oversee product strategy, product management and overall product development.

With over 25 years of experience, Grigaitis is a pioneer in the cable industry, having developed and launched new features such as Video on Demand services. While at Suddenlink, Gregg’s team was responsible for rolling out innovative new products and services such as TV CallerID, TiVo, Suddenlink2GO, and ConnectedHome Security. Before joining Suddenlink, Grigaitis was Senior Vice President of Product & Business Development at Broadbus Technologies (the company also founded by Jeff Binder), working with both domestic and international cable operators to bring VOD products to life. In addition, he supported active product trials integral to the successful deployment of VOD services during the early stages of its existence.

Prior to Broadbus, Grigaitis was the Director of GuestServe and Movie Products at SeaChange International, serving as the general manager for the company's near Video on Demand (NVOD) and interactive hotel systems. Gregg began his career and held several positions with Southwestern Bell Telephone in information technology and finance. He is a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) and earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, and an MBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University.

Grigaitis, who will report directly to Layer3 TV CEO Jeff Binder, will be based in the company’s Denver, Colorado headquarters.
