Un-carrier customer care ranks highest in the industry, with T-Mobile in the top spot among full-service providers;
MetroPCS ranks second among non-contract providers
Bellevue, Washington — July 30, 2015 — T-Mobile US Inc. (NYSE: TMUS) has built its Un-carrier revolution by listening to customers, and today, the company was again recognized for outstanding customer care. T-Mobile topped the customer service performance ranking among the four full-service U.S. wireless providers in the J.D. Power’s 2015 Wireless Customer Care Full-Service Study —Volume 2SM. T-Mobile has now received the highest ranking a total of 13 times—more than half of the 22 times the J.D. Power rankings have been published.
The J.D. Power Customer Care Study assesses wireless providers through a number of different channels, measuring everything from initial contact to problem resolution, based on customer experiences on the phone, walking into a retail store, and online. In the J.D. Power study, T-Mobile landed the highest overall index score—well above the average—and outperformed all of its competitors. T-Mobile’s call center reps received the highest score in every attribute including Courtesy, Concern and Knowledge.
