T-Mobile Customers Get More(r) with Valentines-Themed Downloads

T-Mobile customers have a whole new way to get in the mood this Valentine’s Day as T-Mobile launches its hottest Get More® feature yet – HiFi Ringers – ringtones that are the actual music clips from real artist recordings. Just in time to catch Cupid’s attention, T-Mobile customers can download HiFi Ringers from Grammyâ winning artists Outkast as part of T-Mobile’s “Holiday of Love” promotion. Customers will also feel the love with ‘Love Themed’ downloadable wallpaper to dress up their wireless phones with that ‘little something special’ this holiday season – all at no additional cost.

“Our customers’ growing love affair with the ability to personalize their service has led to an explosion in T-Mobile’s download business on the order of 500 percent annual growth,” said Michael Gallelli, director of content marketing and acquisition for T-Mobile USA, Inc. “A typical customer using downloads in any given month already averages four downloads during that month, and with the launch of HiFi Ringers from today’s hottest artists, we’ve just added another compelling reason to download again.”

As part of the “Holiday of Love” promotion, all T-Mobile subscribers using the Motorola V300, Samsung e105, Samsung e715, Samsung V205 and Nokia 3650 can download up to three HiFi Ringers at no additional cost including Outkast’s “Happy Valentine’s Day”. Other featured ringers include chart-sweeping singles to classic artists with timeless love songs. Additionally, new and existing customers can get access to up to five wallpaper downloads at no additional cost, themed for the holiday with Lipstick Kiss and Rose Bouquet.

In a special love note to its customers, T-Mobile is promoting the HiFi Ringers with a new TV and radio advertising campaign, which opens their ears to the HiFi capability of

T-Mobile’s exciting new handset lineup through the use of Outkast’s “Happy Valentine’s Day” song. “Our customers are consistently showing their preferences by who they download the most,” Gallelli said. “What better way to demonstrate our Get Moreâ promise to our customers then to have their favorite hip-hop duo headline our HiFi Ringer launch – and then give them the download at no additional cost.”
