According to the National Cancer Institute, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. However, when breast cancer is detected early, in the localized stage, the 5-year survival rate is 98%. For the last 25 years, October has been a month designated to Breast Cancer Awareness for the purpose of sharing information and promoting early detection. Throughout the month of October, $1 from the purchase of qualifying accessories, marked with a pink ribbon online, is going directly to the NBCF to help with education, awareness and assistance for women in need. T‑Mobile will donate up to $10,000 to the NBCF with your help. To sweeten the deal, T‑Mobile is also offering 25% off select accessories online. Customers can choose from a selection of headphones, device cases and chargers among other popular items. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same.
