Bellevue, Washington – August 15, 2016 –T-Mobile has teamed up with the American Red Cross to help customers make ‘Text to Give’ donations to those impacted by flooding in Louisiana.
“This is a difficult time for thousands of families,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “Our thoughts, prayers and support are with them and all of the first responders.”
T-Mobile customers can make a $10 donation by texting “LAFLOODS” to 90999. Text messaging charges will not apply, and the one-time donation will show up on their next T-Mobile bill. All donations will assist the Red Cross in preparing for, responding to and helping people recover from this and other disasters.
T-Mobile Simple Choice customers already get unlimited calling and texting included in their T-Mobile service plan at no extra charge.
