Together, we have helped to connect more than 100,000 youth to the resources they need to keep learning, growing, and pursuing their dreams. We couldn’t have reached this milestone without you. On August 1, T‑Mobile closed its acquisition of UScellular’s wireless operations. As a part of T‑Mobile’s integration of UScellular, the After School Access Project will end on January 20, 2026. Both companies believe everyone deserves to be connected. That’s why we are excited to share that T‑Mobile will support qualifying student families through Project 10Million, which offers free internet access and hotspots directly to eligible families to help close the digital divide. __About Project 10Million__  Launched in 2020, [Project 10Million](https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.t%E2%80%91mobile.com%2Fbrand%2Fproject-10-million&data=05%7C02%7Ckatie.frey4%40t%E2%80%91mobile.com%7C83f83ffaee144f75683908de1174dede%7Cbe0f980bdd994b19bd7bbc71a09b026c%7C0%7C0%7C638967390918284479%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=D1Oz9ypm%2BDX4otm4I6o8vxkWIE1Q2Zit3opuLcGolK4%3D&reserved=0) is T‑Mobile’s nationwide initiative to help close the digital divide by offering free internet connectivity and mobile hotspots to underserved K–12 student households. Eligible families you serve can apply today, and we have found that organizations like yours have been a critical factor in helping families take advantage of this free program.  Through Project 10Million, eligible student families will receive a free mobile hotspot and 200GB of data per year for five years. Eligibility can be confirmed through participation in a variety of government assistance programs. To get started and check eligibility, families can visit [https://www.t‑mobile.com/brand/project-10-million](https://www.t%E2%80%91mobile.com/brand/project-10-million) and complete the online application. Once complete, families receive an email and follow the link to complete the application. We’ve also created a flyer for you to share with your clients and community. It can be downloaded [here](https://www.t%E2%80%91mobile.com/news/legacy-uscellular/asset/c03f7712-3e49-4df3-9a35-168df3f9332c/t_mobile_project_10million_flyer). But for the youth who don’t have access to reliable internet, it only makes the digital divide even greater.”  – Laurent (LT) Therivel, UScellular CEO  Our CEO shared how UScellular is helping bridge the digital divide and the positive impact that access to reliable internet through *After School Access Project* has had on youth in this [article](https://www.t%E2%80%91mobile.com/news/legacy-uscellular/closing-the-homework-gap-after-school-access-project). ### Testimonial When students lack access to reliable internet outside of school, they miss out on the essential tools and opportunities to continue learning. This is called the homework gap. Check out [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnG0kaMBP28) to hear how a student used access to the internet to complete homework at an after-school program helping to raise his grades and his career aspirations. Their afterschool and summer programs use the hotspots for various activities including homework assistance and online math games. The Club also uses the hotspots on field trips to learn about plants, insects and animals when in remote areas.  These experiences, along with having access to online Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs help expand Club members future career paths. ### Connecting the Numbers ![US_Cellular_Icons_Wifi](https://www.t%E2%80%91mobile.com/news/_admin/uploads/2024/04/500_us-cellular-icons-wifi.png) Donated more than __25,000 hotspots__ to youth-serving nonprofits since 2021 ![US_Cellular_Icons_Hotspot](https://www.t%E2%80%91mobile.com/news/_admin/uploads/2024/04/500_us-cellular-icons-hotspot.png) More than __100,000 youth__ provided with access to reliable connectivity since 2021 ![US_Cellular_Icons_EconomicImpact](https://www.t%E2%80%91mobile.com/news/_admin/uploads/2024/04/500_us-cellular-icons-economicimpact.png) More than __$30 million__ in hotspots and service since 2021 ## Related Stories [More Stories](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/stories) [![Hometown Grant Program](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/_admin/uploads/2024/09/nr-article-Opt-1-500x250.png) \ CommunityStory \ __What $23 Million Looks Like Across 500 Small Towns: The Story of T‑Mobile’s Hometown Grants__ \ September 29, 2026|7 min read](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/community/the-story-of-t-mobiles-hometown-grants) [![Dierks football team running onto football field](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/_admin/uploads/2026/09/9911347_Newsroom-FN5GL_Grand_Prize_Winner_School_Image_Resize_Newsroom_Hero_V8_1280x640_RGB_REVW-1-500x250.jpg) \ CommunityStory \ __Meet Dierks, Arkansas: The Town of 900 That Scored a $1 Million High School Football Field Upgrade__ \ September 15, 2026|7 min read](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/community/dierks-arkansas-football-field-upgrade) [![Breaking Up With Your Family’s Phone Plan: A Student’s Guide to Starting Fresh This Fall](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/_admin/uploads/2026/08/12763000_Newsroom_StudentPerks_Adulting_HERO-IMAGE_1280x640-500x250.png) \ CommunityStory \ __Breaking Up With Your Family’s Phone Plan: A Student’s Guide to Starting Fresh This Fall__  \ August 11, 2026|8 min read](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/community/breaking-up-with-your-familys-phone-plan-a-students-guide-to-starting-fresh-this-fall) [![T‑Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights Returns Bigger Than Ever with Over $8 Million in Prizes](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/_admin/uploads/2026/08/12595960_Newsroom_FN5GL_Article_1280x640-500x250.jpg) \ Un-carrierPress Release \ __T‑Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights Returns Bigger Than Ever with Over $8 Million in Prizes__ \ August 06, 2026|7 min read](https://www.t-mobile.com/news/un-carrier/t-mobiles-friday-night-5g-lights-returns-with-over-8-million-in-prizes)
