User roles

Your user role

Below is a list of current user roles on your account with a T-Mobile ID profile that can access the account online, in-store, or through Customer Care.

As a reminder, Authorized Users can help manage your account — including making purchases, paying bills, upgrading devices, and updating info. To give someone on your account full access, add them as an Authorized User below.

Learn more about User Role Information.

To establish a new user with elevated access to your account, add them as an authorized user below. If User Access is removed or downgraded, it will be reflected in all channels (Online, Care, and Retail).

The listed users are associated with your account. Authorized users can make changes to your account online, in store, and when calling Customer Care.

You can view the roles assigned to users on your account, but you can't change any roles. If you want to make any changes, please contact the primary account holder for assistance.

Power of attorney

A power of attorney (POA) is a legal document that gives another person authority to act on your behalf. By adding a POA to your T-Mobile account, you are giving us permission to treat your POA as the account holder, also known as the Billing Responsible Party (BRP). You can request a power of attorney for your account, or you can request it on behalf of someone else who has a T-Mobile account.

As a standard user, you can view your role but you can't change your role.

Only authorized users can make account changes online, in store, or when calling Customer Care. If you need to make changes to your account or change your role, contact your primary account holder.
