We'll be sending you a new T‑Mobile 5G Home Internet gateway because your current UScellular gateway will stop working soon. To prevent any service interruptions, please confirm your address.

## Setting up your new gateway.
The __T‑Life app__ is the easiest way to set up your new gateway. You can also check your signal strength, monitor connected devices, update your network name or password, and more. Get the app to get started.
You’ll need a __T‑Mobile ID__ to log in to the app. If you don't have one yet, you'll need to set it up. Be sure to have your phone number or your email address you had on file with UScellular handy. If needed, you can also plug in your new T‑Mobile Gateway to set up your T-Mobile ID.
__Tip:__ Use the same network name and password as your old UScellular device to auto‑connect your devices—just turn off the old device before setting up your T‑Mobile Gateway.

The main differences are pricing structure, equipment, and data limits.
- T-Mobile Home Internet offers simple flat rate pricing, gateway equipment at no extra cost, and unlimited data.
- During congestion, T-Mobile Home Internet customers may notice speeds lower than other customers and further reduction if using >1.2TB/mo. due to data prioritization.
- The T-Life app makes setup easy by guiding customers to place the gateway in the best location, such as near a window or on an upper floor or bookshelf, and allows customers to check signal strength, manage connected devices, update network settings, and more.

- Yes! T-Mobile will be shipping you a new Home Internet Gateway device to your verified home address.
- ### My UScellular Home Internet included two devices. Why did I receive only one device from T-Mobile?
- The T-Mobile 5G Gateway combines a 5G receiver and Wi-Fi router into one compact and modern design.
- ### What do I do with my old UScellular modem or external mount router? Can I still use any of my old equipment?
- Once you’ve successfully set up your new T-Mobile Gateway, you will no longer need any of your old UScellular devices (includes indoor or outdoor modems, Wi-Fi routers (e.g., eero 6), and accessories).

- ### Why do you need me to confirm my shipping address?
- Your UScellular router and service will be discontinued 30 days after your account has been moved to T-Mobile. You will need a T-Mobile 5G Home Internet gateway to stay connected. We need your address to know where to ship the new device to you at no cost.
- ### What if I already provided my shipping address?
- Once you have provided your shipping address, we will be able to send you a new T-Mobile 5G Home Internet gateway at no cost to you. We will ship it as soon as your account is moved to T-Mobile.
- ### When will my account be moved to T-Mobile?
- We will begin moving accounts with Home Internet service are moving now and will continue to move them through Summer 2026. We'll contact you with details and support information once the move is complete.

- ### Which T-Mobile Home Internet Gateway will I receive?
- The gateway you receive will automatically work on our network with your current rate plan.

- T-Mobile Home Internet uses fixed wireless technology, meaning they connect your home to nearby cellular towers instead of using cables or fiber lines.

- For the best speeds, place your Home Internet Gateway in an area of your home with the strongest cellular signal.
