Important info about your service

Recently, the majority of your usage has been roaming while abroad. While we are glad you are taking advantage of our international travel benefits, using more than 50% of your voice or data off-network for an extended period of time is a violation of our Terms and Conditions. Please reduce your use of roaming to avoid having your service affected.

What you need to know

The international travel benefits included with your plan are meant for traveling abroad, not staying abroad for an extended period of time. If you have a Wi-Fi capable phone, you can reduce your roaming by connecting it to a Wi-Fi network and taking advantage of your free Wi-Fi calling, texting and data benefit.

How to use Wi-Fi calling

Wi-Fi calling allows you to make and receive calls wherever you can connect to Wi-Fi and is an easy way to avoid roaming. Simply connect to a Wi-Fi network and enable Wi-Fi calling on your phone.

Need another option?

Using a local wireless provider might make the most sense for your current situation. We understand and are happy to explain all your options.

Please call us at 1-800-937-8997 in the US or at 1-505-998-3793 from outside the US Monday – Friday from 5:00 am – 5:00 pm PST.

Got Questions?

  • Depending on their plan, T-Mobile customers enjoy connectivity in Mexico, Canada and hundreds of other countries and destinations, but the international roaming benefit is meant for those traveling abroad for brief periods of time. We have options for those customers who might be traveling abroad for an extended period of time, or who may now be living outside of the US.

  • Wi-Fi calls to the US are no additional cost and don’t count as network usage. Learn more about Wi-Fi Calling here.

  • Yes – totally unlimited on our U.S. network! The included international voice, data and text usage benefits are meant for those traveling abroad, not living abroad for extended periods of time. Roaming that results in the majority of your usage over an extended period violates our Terms and Conditions.

  • Use Wi-Fi whenever it’s available.

  • If more than half of your monthly voice, text, and/or data usage is on an international provider’s network for a billing cycle, you may get a warning. If the majority of your usage continues on an international provider’s network, we may limit or cancel your service as described in our Terms and Conditions.

  • ONE Plus International has a ton of great features, but none of our international data and text usage benefits were designed for people who are traveling abroad for extended periods of time, or for those customers who are now living abroad.

  • Don't worry – you have options. You can try using Wi-Fi for internet access or for Wi-Fi calling if your phone supports it (check your phone here).
