Re: netflix update
The current Ad Free Standard Netflix is valued at $15.49 per month on my Magenta MAX plan - aka the plan I signed up for. I’m being downgraded to Netflix Standard w/Ads, a $6.99 value and Hulu w/Ads, $7.99 per month value. So the new value for both Netflix w/Ads and Hulu w/Ads is $14.98 per month, so a value decrease in value of 51 cents… not a huge amount. However, we will now have to deal with a constant stream of annoying Ads while watching our favorite shows and movies on both Netflix and Hulu. It’s time to find another Cellular provider. Shoot, I can do without streaming services if it saves me a bunch of money on my plan.197Views4likes0CommentsRe: T-Mobile provided Hulu - can users pay gor no ads?
Hulu is also coming on Jan 24th with Ads. This stinks… The current Ad Free Standard Netflix is valued at $15.49 per month on my plan - aka plan I signed up for. Netflix w/Ads is valued at $6.99 and Hulu w/Ads is valued at $7.99 per month or $14.98 per month for both Netflix and Hulu w/Ads. I’m currently paying $15.49 for streaming services included in my plan but will only see $14.98 per month after this change takes effect. T-Mobile will be making an extra buck off of me after this change. Worse yet, we will now have to deal with a constant stream of annoying Ads while watching our favorite shows and movies. It’s time to find another Cellular provider. Shoot, I can do without streaming services if it saves me a bunch of money.180Views3likes0CommentsRe: Pixel 7 Security Update
I was contacted by a T-Mobile customer support manager today regarding a complaint I had filed related to this issue. He confirmed that T-Mobile has indeed delayed the roll-out of the January Andriod Security-Feature update due to a “bluetooth” issue. He anticipates a fix may be available in the February Android Security-Feature Update. So there probably won’t be a January Update for Pixel owners. I suggested he post an annoucement or note on T-Mobile’s website announcing the roll-out delay and reason why so Pixel customers will stop guessing and becomng upset. He agreed…. but I’m not holding my breath if we’ll ever see anything posted.52Views2likes0CommentsRe: Pixel 7 Security Update
I recently switched from Verizon to T-Mobile. My experience with T-Mobile has been positive until now. I purchased an Unlocked Pixel 7 Pro and have been waiting for the January Google Security Update. As of 10 minutes ago, Jan 15 at 12:06 PM no January update is available. I contacted T-Mobile support regarding this issue and they had no answer. One T-Mobile representative stated the issue rests solely with Google and that I should contact them. I filed two (2) formal written complaints with T-moble management regarding this issue, though I doubt it will make a difference. If T-Mobile has indeed delayed the January 2023 Google Security Update, then T-Mobile should let their customers know and why the January Update is delayed. Also, they should let customers know when to expect the update to roll-out. IMHO this is just terrible and crappy customer service by T-Mobile. Now I’m a disappointed customer.32Views0likes0Comments
