I have a Sagemcom gateway. I have replaced it once with no difference. The Merics has always been good with a band 5G N41. I have taken the gateway to the tower about 50 yards away and got 5 bars with a perfect metrics.BUT zero data speed...I am still sticking with the ideathere is some runaway agressive data reduction at times. Question? Has anyone called the help desk and tried to get sent to Tier 2 on a trouble? I have been unable to get anyone to pass me on to someone who can help. I have called over 6+ times and no one will pass me to Tier 2 help desk. My issue: I turn on the internet early around 6am and the internet is dead. I do all the resets, unplugging and noting, zero Meg speed…. Thenalong 09:30 am or so the internet is back on,running 50M or so. In the afternoon it willget up to 150M or so. Also, about 2 or 3 times a week at 9 or 10 pm the internet will go dead like a switch. This looks like data priority to me…. OkI am ok with that but not Zero speed. I will skip all the self-trouble shootingI have done but when I call the very nice help center you get the same troubleshooting list each time. Yes, I got a newgateway, Yes did multiple factory resets. The gateway reports no errors, good connection to tower, I have not had any drops, cutoffs, restarts noting. So, I have been pressing them asking is this some runaway priority of data issue. Each and every one said no, “the tower is not busy”, “no one is working on anything”, “there is no outage”. “We strive for around 33M if the tower is busy”. They evenaccess my gateway and can communicatewith it fine. So, I ask why do I have Zero speed for a few hours in the morning and evening…. Answer“can we send you a new gateway”. As I write this on a Sunday the internet has not dropped below 150M all day, but Monday will anther day. Questions? Any Ideas? Internet goes out totally nearly every weekday in the time line of 05:30 to 10:00…give or take. So you would think this is because the tower is busy but when I call to see why, I am told each time the tower is not reporting being busy. When I got the service I was told you will have slow speeds (33m or so) during busy times but not zero speed…is this real or was I told wrong. Is this the real story , If the tower is busy it cut off the internet customers? When I call they are all over the trouble and try to figure it out so today when I called I asked point blank...”is this going to work” “should just turn in the gateway and move on?” I am told no and there is some problem we just have not found it yet. Please call back if you have any more problems. I have called so many time I have their troubling shooting check list memorized. Also new to the calls today Is they wanted me to get off the 5G and move to 2.4 GHZ. Seems odd?? One more thing, I reported to them the Cellular metrics RSRP, SINR, as poor but they did not think that was any concern. Other that the above I have no other issues and it works great, no drops, buffing etc. I have other internet options so I do not want to do this forever.Re: Tmobile Home Internet
I have the same issue if I can jump in….but only in the morning, 3 bars, connected to 5G .8 miles from tower, connected toN41, the only metrics that is bad at SINR at 2.6 call for help, they see nothing, re-boot each time I call, two days ago they sent me a new gatway, same trouble.31Views0likes0CommentsRe: Not able to cancel t-mobile home internet nor turn in router anywhere.
Surprising I was in a store in Florida and I saw a lady bring her modem back in and it took about 30m , I was there to buy a phone, I wanted to ask herwhy, because I just got a T-Mobile modem 4 days before, but it looks like she could not speak English. I did not see any issues with the return. How is my service working? 10 days now and two outages. I only called once and they said itwas congestion, but I reminded himcongestion isnot a 2000ms ping and zero download is an outage, He did agree and took my connection down and I restartedmy modem, and all is well, the second outage is unknown because I was leaving the house and did not call.
