Long hold times are back with a vengeance.
I have attempted to contact T-Mobile support to finally remedy the ongoing, unresolved issue involving a T-Life app for Android that crashes whenever the "Connect" option is selected. My first telephone call was disconnected by T-Mobile's automated system after 12 minutes. Before automatically disconnecting the call, T-Mobile's AI voice claimed, "T-Mobile cannot answer your call at this time. Please try your call again later." If only T-Mobile had let me know 12 minutes prior, when I first called, T-Mobile could have saved themselves and their customer precious time. Foolishly, I call back. The good news? The automatic answering system has not disconnected my call yet. The bad news? I have been waiting for any T-Mobile agent to answer my call after remaining on-hold for 1 hour and 36 minutes.141Views0likes3CommentsT-Life app 10.1.2 began crashing whenever "Connect " is selected.
T-Mobile's infinite wisdom saw fit to ditch a devoted SyncUp Tracker app for an overworked and bloated T-Life app. During the process Android 10 compatibility was practically abandoned entirely. T-Life's SyncUp Tracker usefulness with Android 10 is limited at best but an app that now routinely crashes and closes is essentially useless for SyncUp Tracker. Problems also exist with T-Life for Android 13 and for Apple iOS 18.3.1. The value of T-Mobile's ivory tower inhabiting decision makers reminds me of a quote by the father of Total Quality Management, Dr. W. Edwards Deming, who wrote, "All people think but, nowhere is it carved in stone that people in management think best."63Views0likes0Comments
