Hi, T-Mobile Community! I’m hopping on to introduce myself as one of the latest suckers who foolishly fell for the $200 prepaid virtual Mastercard home internet promotion! I switched from another perfectly good internet provider after being lured in by the promo. I activated my service in August andsubmitted for the promo online in September. Icalled customer service after about 5 weeks. I was then told to expect the card near the beginning of October. When I didn’t receive it, I called again and was told to expect it on November 7th, right at the 8 week mark. I did notice my status changed from “received” to “approved” on the online tracker. This morning I called Customer service and was told it’s actually not approved, but “pending,” and that I should check again at the end of this month because processing takes at least ten weeks. As much fun as the anticipation, uncertainty, and inconsistency has been, I think I’m going to go ahead and go back to my former provider. This whole gaslit bit is not for me. If this has happened to you, know that you are not alone!! And if you’re someone who is considering switching providers for and advertised rebate orpromotion, please reconsider!409Views3likes3CommentsT-Mobile Internet - $200 Pre-Paid Mastercard - STILL WAITING
I switched to T-Mobile Internet over 3 months ago. The $200 Pre-paid Mastercard within 10 weeks was an incentive that led to me making this choice. It has been 12 weeks and I have not heard a thing. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am preparing to switch back to my previous provider if this is how they treat customers.11KViews14likes25CommentsLied to About a Promotion
I switched over to T-Mobile internet service on 11/29 and was told I qualified for a promotion they were running for a 50” television. I was told I would receive more information via text and/or through my account. I never received anything. I went out of town for Christmas and still received nothing. So I called customer service today. On the first call I spoke to KeKe, I was told the promotion I was asking about had expired on 11/29 - I had thought I changed over on 12/9. I went back and found my service contract signed at 8:46 p.m. PST on 11/29 while the promotion was still in place. I called customer service again and spoke with Jessica. She first said the order wasn’t entered until 11/30 and I told her I would be happy to send the contract. Then she said it was after midnight EST so the promotion was expired. I told her I signed the contract at 11:46 EST and, again, I would be happy to send the contract. Then I was told I only had 30 days to submit the promo code and that time had passed. I told her I never received the promo code. She asked if I had followed up and I told her I reached out to customer service in mid-December. The person I spoke with at that time seemed to have no clue what I was talking about, but she assured me I would be receiving something and I needn’t worry because the offer would be good for 30 days from the time I received the information. Then Jessica proceeded to tell me the only call I had made to their customer service was on Dec. 9 and it was not about the promotion, but about setting up my gateway. I told her, again, I did talk to someone and asked her why she thought I would make that up. At that point she said there was nothing she could do and I no longer qualified for the promotion. I’ve had T-Mobile cell service for 20 years and had looked forward to moving internet over because the service has always been outstanding. Now, it seems, they’re just like every other service. Customers are liars. Customers don’t matter. And if customers lose out because T-Mobile employees don’t do their jobs - well too bad.387Views0likes2Commentspromotion issue
I am incredibly frustrated with the lack of progress on my T-Mobile rebate. I have been waiting for over nine months for a $150 prepaid Mastercard that I was promised when I signed up for 5G home Internet as part of a promotion. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve this with customer support over the phone, I have not received any updates and keep getting the runaround. This is completely unacceptable, and I demand an immediate resolution on the rebate and a clear explanation for this outrageous delay. Has anyone else experienced such a long delay in receiving a rebate? I can't believe it's been over nine months already.140Views0likes1CommentI'm such an idiot, used wrong bank info

Buyer beware! You won’t get your card! People who actually get a gift card of any amount are few and far between! I switched my home internet. Was told I would receive the card in the mail, never came. When I called was told I should have received a confirmation email that I never got and that the promotion is expired and no longer available. T-Mobile is running a scam with these card offers. Same thing happened with several of my neighbors. Nobody got a card!103Views0likes0Comments
