Hey guys, I'm new here... I just got my gateway in yesterday... I must say, I'm highly disappointed and I only wish I researched this further before I ordered it...I've already donemultiple searches on this topic, so I'm not gonna ask the question I've been wanting to ask which was: "Why isn't my connection open NAT?", or "Why can't I port forward?". I've pretty much answered all of those questions myself by simply searching. I have taken it upon myself to call T-mobile's tech support anyways in the event that somehow a miracle is sent my way.... Fortunately for me, a very kind gentleman by the name of Alex, employee number 786457, assured me that they will be fixing the problem within a 48 hour period. I was told there will be some Beta software sent to my unit "possibly". And yes, that was the word used... Not sure how far I can believe that, seeing as how a lot of you are having issues. But anyway, this is my journey. I will post some updates here n there to let y'all know the outcome. Worst case scenario this causes me to vacate the community & the service entirely. Because this is probably one of the largest handicaps any network can have, it's almost like having parental control without it actually being implemented. Stay tuned folks, I'll let you know what happens. Hopefully this "beta" program isn't bullcucky.6.5KViews2likes33CommentsRouter Won't Connect to Online Play for Nintendo Switch
Hello everyone! I am in desperate need of help. I recently bought a Nintendo Switch and am trying to access online play. I always get an error message when I try to access online play. The error typically says something about my NAT type causing the issue. MyT-Mobile router (Arcadyan KVD21) seems to have NAT type B. I was told that I could just access my router settings on my computer and enable UPnP. However, when I type in my IP address I do not see any router settings to change. All I see is connection status/quality and some gateway information. Basically all I see is exactly what is in the T-mobile home internet app.Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Should I just get rid of T-Mobile home internet and get something else if I want to play games online?Solved12KViews1like11CommentsMLB The Show does not work on my T-mobile 5g internet box.
MLB The Show does not work on my T-mobile 5g internet box. It will say “Challenge Failed” when trying to play an online match. The game works perfectly fine when i bring my xbox to my parents house. But when i bring it back to my wifi, it doesn’t work. I test the NAT type until it’s open, I reset the router, etc. I’ve done everything I can think of and there no solution. Does anyone have this same problem? This is the only game that won’t work either. This and NBA 2k brought me some issues. But i can play COD or shooters on my wifi… but cross play sports games seem to bring the issue6.4KViews3likes21CommentsOnline gaming
So I’m trying to play some games online on my Xbox One but when I try to enter any type of “matchmaking” for any game, it disconnects me from the server. I have goneto my Xbox settings and tested the connection and it says all services are available. However, it shows my NAT Type is set to “strict” and it also says “UPnP unavailable” which I have found out that this is preventing online game play. My question is: how do I change my NAT Type to OPEN so I can play online? Xbox help center told me that maybe perhaps my gateway needs an update but I’m unsure how to go about doing that (if that’s the case) or even where I would look to check for one. Other things have no problem, like Netflix or my phone. These things are connected and run just fine.1.1KViews0likes6Commentsstrict nat type console

Anyone know Any other fixes? Port fowarding can’t work on tmobile.3.3KViews0likes6CommentsNat type

Been using TMobile Home Internet for quite a while now and I've always had a Moderate NAT which is perfectly fine with me. Today, however, I open up Warzone and notice it's strict. Strange. Reboot the gatewayand ps5 and try again - still strict. No recent updates that I know of and I didn't change anything. Last night it was fine.394Views2likes1CommentDO NOT GET T MOBILE. INFO FOR GAMERS. It Doesnt work AT ALL
I got the 5g Gateway and I cant do anything i Need to. I cant Play On My Ps4 OR Stream On twitch. It Says My NAT Type is “type 3” my Ping is EXTEREMELY HIGH On everything. I Only Switched to this because AT&T goes out every time it rains and takes forever to come back on. THIS SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE. id rather deal with outages instead of nothing working at all. This Service is a COMPLETE rip off and I would NEVER recommend it to ANYBODY IN THE WORLD. I've Only Had it For a Few Hours and I've been frustrated Ever since I turned it on. This Has been the worst Internet experience I ever had in my entire life.527Views2likes1Comment
