My daughter's watch will not make or receive calls. Has anyone else experienced this. It can send/receive texts, but calls fail or when I call her the watch does nothing. I’ve been having my home internet for a few months and everything is and was great until one day I thought I had to many devices on at once so I went to my tmoblie internet app and looked at the devices I had connected. And at the time I decided to remove my Nintendo switch for the moment, figuring that I could just you know go back on my switch when the time came to reconnect but when I did maybe a few days later and Error code 2110-3127 has be popping up saying Unable to connect to internet could not perform DNS name resolution try again later . Got the watch and set up the app and everything is working great. We added contacts and started testing it out. If a contact is designated as a "guardian" they can call the watch, but if a contact is designated as a "friend" then calling the watch gives an error message saying the number doesn't exist. Texting works just fine, and the watch can call out to any of the contacts, the only issue is with incoming calls from "friends".2.5KViews0likes4CommentsSynchUp Kids watch can't send outbound texts
I purchased a SynchUp Kids watch for my child. It worked fine on the first day but seems to be having issues sending text messages after receiving an update on Jan 25. All other functions are fine (inbound texts, inbound/outbound calls, GPS, etc.). After contacting support, they confirmed that it is a known issue, and their technical team is working on it. They could not give an estimate on when it would be fixed. Anyone else having this issue and vague response from support? It has been about 3 days since I opened the case. I’m also a little disappointed that I will need to call back in for updates. I would think that the support team would at least reach out or be able to provide more information. Bought a used syncup kids watch to replace a broken one. After getting the sim activated, can't pair with the app. Says it's registered with another user. Messaged the person I bought them from and he bought them from someone else and resold them. T-Mobile can't work around this problem apparently. So my kids watch is working in some respects. It’s on, I can press the button and touch screen is responsive to some of my swipe gestures. Also the App shows my sons watch location, I can make calls to it and it rings. However the screen is TOTALLY black. In this odd state I was able to power watch off, I pressed and held power button for a long time and I think another menu came up but I could not see it. A little while later the app advised me the watch powered off. I turned back on and no change, the watch powers back up BUT I still can’t see the screen. I THINK he might have turned the brightness ALL the way down rendering the screen completely black. Horrible design if that’s true because there’s no physical button or quick gesture that I know of to restore brightness. I think I’ll have to take the watch in but has anyone else had this issue? That’s the only logical explanation I have unless the display just gave up the ghost. But again I can hear a few things on certain swipe gestures which indicates the screen is acknowledging the swipes.799Views0likes7CommentsSynch-up airplane mode not helpful!!
I use this watch to be able to track my son’s location when he’s outside playing, on school field trips, etc. Airplane mode was just enabled on his watch. THIS IS NOT A HELPFUL TRACKING DEVICE IF I CANNOT DISABLE AIRPLANE MODE FROM MY APP. God forbid something bad happened and a person took his watch and put it on airplane mode, I can no longer contact him, or him contact me, or even track his location. I feel that Airplane Mode should be something that is a.) controlled by the app, or b.) removed from the watch completely. The sole purpose of this thing for me is tracking.
