blacklisted
9 TopicsWhy are Blackview GLOBAL 5G phones blacklisted?!?!???
Blackview has repeatedly stated that all of their 5G phones are built for GLOBAL use, to include the odd American 5G choice of system... that the problem is not the Blackview phones but the American mobile carriers who choose to lock out the Blackview phones because the carriers don't sell Blackview phones. They don't sell Blackview phones because Blackview phones are built to last forever and not break the bank like Apple, Samsung, LG, etc. Seems to me that T-Mobile needs to be honest instead of telling people that the phones are the issue when they are guaranteed to be compatible by Blackview. I tend to believe Blackview because their phones have been phenomenal compared to any other brand that I've used. ALSO, I've had Developers from all of the American carriers verify that our Blackview phones can work but have been blocked by the carriers. But if anyone has any other information, I'd love to hear it!1.4KViews0likes6CommentsIs my Android asian phone blacklisted?
Hello! I have a Xiaomi (K40 gaming) phone, I've been with TMobile since 2 weeks ago without any issue, I've just inserted the SIM in my cellphone and everything went smoothly. Today in the morninrg I've noticed that I had no internet connection, the signal bars were there but no 5G nor VoLTE icon appeared. Plus, I was not able to make any phone call and SMS were not sent either. After a couple of hours, I was able to make and receive calls and SMS, but the Internet is still missing. I went to a T-Mobile store and one guy there "explained" me that Chinese phones are not meant to work in US networks, that somehow the network it's struggling to connect to the cellphone band and because of the "US situation with China" these phones usually have these connection issues and that at some point, these phones will be blacklisted. Since my phone worked just fine the last 2 weeks, I don't think these arguments are valid at all. On the other hand, I called to customer service and they've raised a report for the technical team to investigate. Is this blacklisting a real thing? Any clue on why T-Mobile restricted my service?1.7KViews2likes28CommentsIMEI unlock
I purchased a brand-new iPhone 14 in November 2022, which was imported from Paraguay. I'm its first and only user. Everything worked fine until the end of September when I suddenly couldn't receive calls. My local carrier confirmed that my plan is in good standing and there aren't any issues like overdue payments. After some research, I found out that my iPhone's IMEI has been blocked. According to the Brazilian telecommunications agency, the block was initiated by T-MOBILE, see the image below: I've already reached out to an authorized Apple representative (reference number 102118795890) to investigate, but they couldn't find any reason for the block. They advised me to get in touch with T-MOBILE directly. However, I've had difficulties connecting with you via chat. Considering this iPhone has always been in my possession and I've never had any dealings with T-MOBILE, how can I request an IMEI unblock?357Views0likes4Commentsemail to sms gateway spam filter issue with multiple domain
My domain nwtotalatm.com is currently being blocked by the spam filters of tmomail.net, we utilize our domain to send out location update information for a field techs (all of who have tmobile business cell phones under our business plan) as well as our clients. All our techs and clients that are on the tmobile network stopped receiving email to sms notifications from our reports@nwtotalatm.com email address on Monday 9/4/23 at approx 8:42pm PST. Please send this to the SPAM administrator of tmomail.net to address. We called and got a ticket number, the next day (yesterday) for 1 hour 45 minutes we got flooded with messages and seemingly current notifications that were sent in real time. Then at 3:50 pm PST they stopped. I confirmed my email server has sent out more notifications to my tec (who all use my tmobile biz line phones to receive these) and they stopped getting them too. I even switched domain’s on my outbound email server and that worked for about 2 hours. Is this cloudflare that is just being too aggressive? Why have I gotten no more response or help on this. This is the 2nd post on this issue.Solved389Views0likes3CommentsBlacklisted foreign made Phones
What foreign made world smart phones ARE NOT blacklisted by T-Mobile? I’m looking at buying a World class rugged smart phone with android OS, but most of the good ones are Chinese made. Are ALL Chinese made phones blacklisted? Or just some of them? I’m a Blue collar guy that does travel internationally sometimes, so I’d like a rugged phone. It seems easier to ask what I Can bring over to T-Mobile.Solved1.3KViews0likes2CommentsBlacklisted by Verizon??
I'm really not sure what to put in here... I would also like to preface this with the fact that I'm actually a T-mobile customer. I got an iPhone when I turned 14 and since then I have been unable to SMS message anyone on the Verizon network. I'm now 21 and it's been a big issue over the last 7 years. Luckily I have been able to message ios users because message runs over data rather than traditional SMS protocol. Generally, I have been able to use other messaging apps for group messages with Android users on the Verizon network. It behaves awfully weird too. I can receive messages from Android Verizon users, but I can't send texts to them. I can. however, send images and videos to them. Because of this, I have been screenshotting and cropping many messages that I want to send to these people. Also, this applies to LITERALLY ANYONE on the Verizon network. Including Xfinity mobile, Gabb wireless, and others like them. Before you go crazy in the comments, here's what I've tried. Talk to T-Mobile. It's probably their fault. I have multiple times and all the way up to some of their top technical teams and according to all measurements they have made, my phone number is totally fine. They say it's Verizon's fault for blocking my phone number. Talk to Verizon I've talked to Verizon a couple of times and they said they couldn't do anything about it. They tried to deflect the blame, but I think I still believe that the blame rests in Verizon's hands. Is it a problem with my phone? It might have been, cause I've only had iPhones, but I managed to test that through using the T-Mobile DIGITS service which sends an SMS message as if it was a non-ios device. The Verizon users still didn't get my texts. Conclusion So. What do I think? I think that I probably got blacklisted on the Verizon network because the former user of my phone number was probably a bad actor. Why do I think this? Cause I regularly receive many messages and calls intended for some random Chinese person that I've never met. Stuff about insurance, taxes, income, etc. I think that my phone number was recycled in the same way that most numbers are when the line is closed, but that the previous user got it blacklisted back before I got my phone in 2016. I'm desperate guys... any insights or help would be appreciated.218Views0likes0CommentsSprint/T-Mobile blacklisted my verizon phone
I bought a new iphone X from verizon.com in 2018. It's worked fine with no issues. This past weekend, I tried to trade-in the phone to verizon and found there was a "lost or stolen" flag on my IMEI number. Upon further investigation, it was by Sprint in 2019 (a year after I had been using the phone through verizon). Note - I have never had sprint. The phone was bought new from verizon.com. The flag occurred after I had already been using the phone. In talking with T-mobile, they are absolutely useless and refuse to take the IMEI off the black list even though I provided the original invoice and can provide monthly statements that show the phone was never through Sprint.1.5KViews0likes6Comments
