iPhone Text Messages do not send
When my iPhone is connected to the T-Mobile 5G Hotspot, I cannot send text messages from the iPhone to non-iPhone users. There is just a “message unable to send” error.
IMessages and Android don't play well with each other.
You might want to go to the Apple forum and see if there's a fix there.
Check an see if the WiFi hotspot has a setting for cellular data and make sure it is enabled. I am not sure what specific device you are referring to as the T-Mobile WiFi hotspot nor am I clear on the type of phone nor carrier the phone is related to.
