how to change 5g home internet location

From the first day I set-up the 5G home internet. It’s been configurating that I’m in Detroit, Mi. All my devices are stating that I’m in Detroit, Mi. ( Phone, TV, Roku, Internet) . When I contacted Tech Support. I was told they can’t help. I’m from Y-town, Oh. about 200 mile from Detroit. This has become a problem for me for whatever Apps. I use. Does anyone has a solution for this problem. I try resetting, but that didn’t work.

Wow a whole year and no help! So I found this comment because my location shows that I am in NC when In actuality I am in SC. All I can say in my research I did realize that the number they assigned to my internet is a NC area code. So where did this phone number come from? And maybe that’s your problem too. Still searching for a solution a regular router would let you log on and make changes from what I can tell you can’t with T-mobiles gateway.

I think I found the solution to the modem router saying wrong city, cancel service and go with regular internet providers this is why I’m getting the service for $30 per month you don't get deals today you get what you pay for, meaning they most likely knew this before they offered it. The service itself is fast and good over 500 mbps but my local news channels are in wrong state,  you can find this out by two different ways perform a speed test using ookla.net it will tell you what servers it’s on,  or go to youtube on a tv and find news then local news. Mine did work for a year now its wrong with no solution.  It took me a while to figure out this was their problem,  other than wrong city or state which you can work around I guess the service is cheap and good. Another note is I’m not able to change admin password or name in my modem g4ar no where in the settings has that so I’m not sure why. I wanted to change it incase of possible hacking,  their customer service is not very good especially if you call after hours
