Gateway Not connecting to Internet

My Gateway worked great for several months. Now it shows not connected to the internet. I have reset it, unplugged it for hours and it will work for about 20 min and then lose connection. I have moved it to another location several times. What is something I can do that will help? I am really getting tired of this. My parents Gateway has no problems, and they are next door.
