Cannot connect T-mobile Internet to my roomba

I have added a 2g network to connect my WI-FI to my Roomba j7 but it will not connect. The Gateway and Roomba are in the same room so it is not an issue with distance. I even changed the Security from WPA2/WPA2 to WPA2. Can anyone help with this issue I am having??

    I had to change the network setting to WPA2. The Roomba is not compatible with WPA3.

    @LeftyW1 make sure you use the the 2.4Ghz option. Most devices (thermostats, cameras, etc.) have a difficult time connecting to 5G. You may want to set up a separate 2.4Ghz SSID for your Roomba and then connect your printer to the separate new SSID.
