Sync up kids watch 2

Hi I just purchased the kids sync up watch 2. I can add contacts but when I try both ways to send an invite link just my text messages pop up to whomever that person is but it NEVER populated with a link EVER. WE have tried everything. Not working by giving an invite link to guardians. I need my older adult children to be able to monitor my young child's location please help
