Can't add contacts to syncup watch in t-life app.
I try to add an existing contact my the t-life app for my son's sync up watch.
Steps
1. From the t-life app > connect > people > settings in top right > watch contacts select a contact.
2. Select the checkbox next to the child the contact should be added to. In my case this is our second watch so a contact is already assigned and I'm trying to assign this contact to the 2nd watch.
3. Enter a name.
4. Select Save
Actual Behavior
1. Error is returned "Something went wrong. Please try again.
I've only been able to add myself and one more contact. Hoping someone knows how to resolve this issue.

We had the same issue and after returning one watch and getting a replacement that had the same issue we learned it's a T Life issue. You have to delete the old contact and re-add completely. It sucks because the kids lose all their texts and photos from that contact. But it works. The only contact I still can't edit is the Admin, because there is no way to delete it and re-add. 🤦🏼♀️

This is our 3rd watch and never had this issue with SyncUp App. I'm no dummy when it comes to tech, so I'm doing the uninstall reinstall turn restart this and that. How the hell could T-Mobile release a half made app to the public that some 20 year old java student created? And why mess with something that isn't broken?

My issue is the contacts are already added and already have photos associated with them. I'm trying to add existing contacts to a second watch.

Just a thought….did you try changing the photo or avatar to something different than your first child’s watch? Or maybe adding the contacts manually.
These are just suggestions…I don’t have a second watch to try it on.

Yes, I tried changing photo. I tried adding same contact again. Still same error.

Came here because I'm having the exact same problem! So frustrating and I've tried many times! 😕

Dear gemjernae
I’m assuming you got to the pairing part and did all that.
Go to Connect at the bottom of the home page. Click people.
Click on name of child. Top right hand corner should appear an icon with a sun. Click the icon and will take you to a list. Click on watch contacts.
click on + symbol. Add photo or avatar. Proceed with completing the form. Click next. Complete remaining questions. Click Save.
Check your child’s watch to make sure your new contact is listed.
FYI in order to add contacts you need to make sure your new contact includes either a photo or avatar in order to work. If you don’t add either one you can’t add contacts.
I hope this helps you out. Let me know if it works for you,

I had the same issue. I finally figured out that you need to add a photo or avatar first then fill out the form with name, phone number, guardian or friend, if you want that person to be SOS. After all is completed, then hit next. It will then take you to a couple more questions then hit SAVE! Your info will appear in your child’s watch.
I was on the phone with people from T-Mobile for many hours. I even spoke to tech support before I figured it out at 4:30 in the morning by myself! No one ever told me about the photo!
I hope this helps all the parents out there! Any questions let me know.

I have been adding a photo from the start. I've then tried the avatar. I've tried every combination of everything there is to try. I hit "next," check the watch box to which I'm adding contact, and hit "Save and invite." Every single time, no matter what, I get the message "Something went wrong. Please try again." Beyond frustrated at this point. This issue did not exist before switch to useless T-Life app.
