simple choice north america adding new line

so when i try to trade in my current phone pixel 6 pro for 8 pro they told me i can get silly money when i trade

there is 500$ trade offer for my phone for trade in on plan, since my plan is ancient ,why i can not add new line and get new devices or trade my exisitng device

am i being punished for sticking with tmobile for 18 years.

  • Some upgrade offers have requirements, like being on an in-market plan or adding a new line on a specific in-market plan.  It has nothing to do with punishing anyone.

at what point would one actually think a company would be punishing you for being with them for 18 years?

Have you tried upgrading through Google? I traded in a 4XL for a 7 and got $250ish for the trade in then upgraded my 6 to an 8 and I got $350 for the trade in plus a free pair of Google buds pro with no upgrade fees.
