Is T-Mobile’s 5G stable enough for video editing and streaming on an i7 laptop?

Hello everyone,

I'm considering using my Intel i7 laptop with T-Mobile’s 5G network for video editing and live streaming, both of which require stable, high-speed internet. Does anyone have insights on whether T-Mobile’s 5G provides the stability and bandwidth needed for smooth performance with these types of professional tasks?

If there are any recommended settings, device configurations, or network adjustments that help maximize connection reliability on 5G for video work, I'd like to hear them.

  • That ultimately depends on the area you will be doing so in.  It should as long as you aren't expecting to stream at 4k 120Hz, but you definitely should try it out where you are first to see.  Especially during peak times.
