free international texting
I have the Magenta plan. How do I set up free international texting on a cruise ship?
Nothing in any T-Mobile plan includes cruise ship usage. The micro towers on cruise ships are privately owned and charge some insane rates for any usage on them. Expect ot pay around $3 a text and $7 or more for a call. Purchase the ships WiFi package and keep the device in airplane mode with WiFi Calling enabled.

You can give Customer Care a call at 611 or reach out to T-Mobile on Facebook or Twitter to inquire as to why your international texting has ended. Ultimately, it depends on what international plan or add-on you chose.
Why did my text and email coverage stop? I bought 2 weeks unlimited and it's only been 1 week...
You don’t. There are 215+ countries and destinations where outgoing texts are free. Cruise ships are not among them. Outgoing texts on cruise ships are usually 50¢ each.
