PS5 connection issues
My home Internet has a good connection I'm getting really good speeds but for some reason my laptop cannot connect to my Internet and also when I connect my PlayStation portal and my PlayStation 5 pro I'm not getting good speeds at all I can't even stream games because it says my speeds are too slow. Never had this issues with my ps4. But when I run speed tests I'm getting well over 100 mbps and great upload speeds over 10 mbps consistently. Is there a setting on my router I should be changing?? I look up online and it talks about nat settings and whatnot but I can't find on the app or router where I can change anything. It's not a signal strength issue.
Make sure your gateway isn't overheating. It will overheat if it is getting sun on it.
The signal metrics would still look good when that happens, but the speed & throughput would drop to almost nothing.
I wish it was that. But it's in a dark room with no sun hitting it and it stays a pretty constant under 75 degrees in that room and nothing cluttering it to not allow air flow it's staying plenty cool. I think my speeds are being throttled down by t mobile unfortunately because of my data usage. It's the only solution I have gotten.
