printer connected to wifi but not showing on devices to print

I Connected my brother printer to the KVD model and it does not show as connected on any devices. I ran a network configuration on my printer and it reports I am connected to my ssid and the link is ok 11n(72mbs. Why am I unable to retrieve the printer on my connected devices? Moreso, what is the fix?
