Help Internet device stolen
So I bought a T-Mobile Internet device and it was stolen when my husband passed away. I am now being told that it doesn't matter that I told them as soon as I found out because unless I return the property I will be charged $300!!! I have been a loyal customer even got some people on with them but now I am pissed.

Unfortuantely, T-Mobile isn’t responsible for stolen devices unless you’ve purchased a protection plan - even then not sure it’s available with TMHI gateway. However, it would be nice to take into account special circumstances and customer loyalty solely from a PR perspective. I doubt the device has any value except as being sold to some unsuspecting soul on ebay or elsewhere.
You might want to check your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance, theft may be covered - some polices do without adding electronics coverages for damages.
