hardwiring internet to my imac

My understanding is that the second USB-C port on the gateway doesn’t transmit data. You’ll need to use the Ethernet port. Does the Mac have an Ethernet port? If so, a regular Ethernet cable should work. If not, you’ll need a USB-C to Ethernet cable.
