G4AR problems

I am having to restart my G4AR Gateway to get better connection speeds.  It helps for a while sometimes a very short time and sometimes just helps a small amount.  Does anyone know if there is an issue with this unit?  I use a Waveform External Antenna.  Without the antenna I ahem slow connection speeds that's why I went with the external.
