Does Google Mesh slow down download speed

I wonder the same thing, although I don’t know why it would.  I had Google mesh with 3 AP’s before switching from AT&T fiber to Tmobile 5G.  I need my Google mesh wifi network to get wifi coverage all over my house.  Unfortunately, TMO 5G doesn’t seem to play nicely with Google Mesh.  My internet signal drops down significantly.  When I test a direct connection to the TMO 5G wifi signal it works great and fast.  No idea why this is happening.  I came here looking for answers and possible solutions.
