Black gateway + another router network

We have the basic black internet gateway sitting at 192.168.12.
we also have another private wifi access point printer router network sitting at 192.168.1.

can we plug this other router into the RJ45 on the back of and have the TM router actually route to the other 168.1 printer network ?

If your other router can operate in "bridge" mode, then I think it should work.

In bridge mode, your other router will rely on the black gateway for DHCP and should operate within the 192.168.12 IP address range.

Ypu can, but you want to make sure the router is setup as an access point so you don't run into double NAT and other issues.

Wish I could Edit my reply, but can’t as yet…

with my 2nd AP, if I want to use it, I just change my wifi connection to the other SSID, and when done, come back to the TM SSID as our normal connection.  Was looking for a way to connect both networks together and just access using a single SSID .

Don’t think that will work - as the 2nd AP has its own static network … so I really need a way to retain both IP networks with their respective IP addresses…   168.1 and 168.12
