Arc Gateway Mesh Extender?

Supposedly the Arc Gateway can be extended with a mesh network. Has anyone done this? What is the hardware needed to extend?

I’m using the eero 6+ mesh system with two pods.  I just plugged one pod into the ethernet port on back of the Arcadyan gateway and the system worked, just as it worked with Cox internet.  The second pod is downstairs and works fine, too.

Did you compare speeds using the Eero and using the built in router?

No, I never used the built-in router.  I plugged in the eero right after I plugged in the gateway.  My highest speed with the gateway and eero connection has been 362 Mbps download and 22 Mbps upload. I actually had no problems, though, with around 100 Mbps/5 Mbps when I had Cox, although the eero took the Cox speed up to 180 Mbps.  No gaming and few things connected to the internet at the same time here.

You are welcome.  Good luck in finding a mesh system you like.  There are Labor Day sales going on right now.
