Add External HD to wireless network
I have a 5TB external HD that I can connect to my laptop with usb-c. Is there a way to connect it to my home tmobile wireless network so I don’t have to plug it in every time I want to use it? What other equipment do I need?
@perchance, to get access to an external HD, it needs to be plugged into a router connected to The TMO gateway. You cannot access an external HD plugged directly into the TMO gateway,

You need a secondary networked, USB capable device such as a raspberry pi or many many other options to serve as the network attached storage server.
Personally I use an Odroid HC4 which has USB of course but also two 2.5"/3.5" drive bays in what looks like a popup toaster.
