add external drive to T-Mobile 5G Gateway (G4AR & G4SE) via USB-C LAN port
I have the white T-mobile gateway
T-Mobile 5G Gateway (G4AR & G4SE)
and want to add a SanDisk 1TB drive via the USB-C LAN port. I plugged it in, but I cannot see it. What’s the next step?

I have had my Qualcom router for 18 months. I very much want to connect an external drive. But I have not found any straightforward method to accomplish this.

You also need to call in to tech-support. I just got off the phone with May and Jake from tech-support. They are going to the higher-ups to see what can be done the more people that call in the better. Writing about it on a website does nothing.

having a working usb c port would make it nice and easy ( and cheaper) to create a NAS with a usb drive. A fixed ip address or routing would be essential to making one that is actually useful though.
I imagine tmobile keeps an eye on this place. so pile on.
