Wi Fi Calling
I have an LG G6 and I’ve used wi-fi calling in the past. I was originally with Verizon and switched to TMobile last year. I go to the menu in the phone app under phone settings and select “wi-fi calling” but it doesn’t allow me to switch to wi-fi. I can tap on it and no alternate selection is provided. I searched the internet, I’ve updated my e911 info with TMobile and gone through my settings numerous time. Can anyone help?
Is the device purchased from T-Mobile? WiFi Calling and VoLTE compatibility between carrier devices is almost always a miss. Verizon's WiFi Calling implementation is not compatible with T-Mobile's. LG gave up on the cell phone business a while ago now as well. Perhaps it's time to consider upgrading your device.
