Beware of T-Mobile: False Promises and Incompetent Staff
I highly recommend avoiding T-Mobile if you’re considering doing business with them. They are blatantly dishonest. When I contacted their customer support, I was told I could exchange my phone through the Trade-In program with zero down payment and a monthly payment of $23.70. However, just half an hour later, they changed their decision and informed me that a down payment was required. Their staff is completely incompetent. First, they tell you no down payment is needed, then they say you have to pay one. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

I had kind of the same experience. I had a 3 line Essential Savers plan for $100/month. I switched to a 4 line Essential Savers plan, also for $100/month. I was charged a $62 "prorated" charge to make the switch. When two plans cost the same amount, it shouldn't be an additional $62.
