Billing Cycle Starts before device is shipped & received

This happened to me actually I ordered a phone roughly around the 15th or 14th of December The phone said it was shipped was supposed to show up in the following Monday It did not show up. It says it was delivered did not show up on my doorstep. So had a problem with that one and then had to go down to the store to verify my identity because I couldn't get a text message to my phone cuz I didn't have phone with T-Mobile. Was trying to transfer my number from Verizon and they ordered another phone for me wish I had to cancel after I left the store and called customer service and then finally was able to order my other phone still now I'm showing two different equipment installment plan even though one phone was already missing and I didn't start my phone plan or get my phone until right before Christmas Christmas Eve actually. But they are charging the whole time not sure why I transferred over
