Voicemail cannot be set up at all (iphone)
I brought my iphone 8 plus to a local store to set it up for my teenage son. It is all working EXCEPT for the voicemail. When we attempted to set it up, it says the account cannot be found. When anyone calls the phone and waits for voicemail, it just says “the number is not a subscriber.”
We have tried everything. Resetting call forwarding. Turning of wifi calling. Resetting the passcode online. Setting up the voicemail remotely. Setting up the voicemail on the phone. Installing a new SIM card. Nothing works.

So I take it you held the 1 button on the dialer and put the last 4 digits of the phone number in when prompted for a pin. After that you just follow the menu to finish setting up.
If that doesn't work you need to contact TMobile using messenger on one of their social media accounts like Facebook or Twitter to have them reset the voicemail.
