Motorola Edge 2024-Android 15 update
I got a new Motorola Edge 2024 a couple of days back. It is currently running on Android 14 out of the box. I know it is due for the upgrade to Android 15 but for the life of me I cannot find out what is the time frame for that. I did a search on Google and did not come up with any info on it.
Apparently Motorola has stated that this device will get 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates. Motorola surely is way behind every other maker out there as far as software update is concerned.
I would like to get any info on it if you are also using the same phone or just happen to have any info about it.

Motorola definitely isn't quick with their updates. Especially on more.value oriented sevices. They might be waiting for Android 16 to launch to push that instead of wasting their time on Android 15. I am just guessing though. Have you tried contacting Motorola support to see when the update will be ready and for more information on their uodate schedule?
There are a lot of frustrated members on their forum who are constantly asking the same question for different kinds of phones and apparently Motorola is trying to complete the testing mode of Android 15. They do not have any date announced yet.
No I have not contacted support directly but that is a good idea, will do so and see what they come up with.
Yesterday while checking for updates I was able to download just the security update for May😂. I thought a bit strange since the Android 15 is actually due for download.
Apparently Motorola has released it and now it is stuck with T mobile for final approval. ☹️
