Google msgs 'Group Chat'
Nord n20 android and Google messages with iPhone and Android mixed group chat members. Lately I have multiple chat groups getting renamed to 'Group Chat', hard to know who I'm texting with when multiple groups are labeled group chat. I can't change the name because I'm not the administrator. Frustrating.
Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix?
With iPhone's and Android group chat mixing. There are some RCS functions that do not work across both sides. If the person who started the group chat on is on iOS and you are on Android. Then you won't be able to rename it, at least not in the current version of Google Messages. Try reaching out to the Google Messages app support team to see if there is a way they can implement tjis in a local way until Apple decides they are going to do a lot.of catching up with the RCS standard Google current uses.
