Galaxy S21 5G wont reboot after software update
I received a T-Mobile software update today (July 27) for my Galaxy S21 5G. It started the update process but now wont reboot, in fact, the phone won’t even power on.
good to hear however not overly fond of the fact that they had to remove your non removable battery and re attach it again to get it to power up.
at least im almost positive it does not have a removable battery.
Thanks fireguy. Unfortunately even that did not work. The local T-Mobile store was not able to help either but did refer me to an independent repair shop. They were able to open the case, disconnect the battery then reconnect it. That allowed the phone to reboot and it is functioning normally now.
if you plug it in does it at least show that its charging in any way? i know there is a force restart you can do if the screen freezes up on you but not sure if it’ll work the same for starting it up..you can try holding the volume down button and power button down at the same time to see if it kicks its on or not..might even bump you into safe mode..
