can i bypass device lock screen without having to reset my phone?

I let a friend use my extra phone until she could get a new one of her own. I told her not to change anything or do anything to the phone because I have stuff on it that I still needed to transfer to my current phone. However she did not listen and changed the unlock pin and now she can't remember it. Is there any way I can bypass the device unlock screen without losing anything I have on the phone?
